What I'm Doing Now

Scrolling

Currently trying to break the habit of mindlessly scrolling, even just picking up my phone. Me updating my blog is apart of this breaking.

Figuring out the next steps

It's nearing the time to move on to a new chapter in my life. The time of packing up and moving around every two weeks is nearing an end. The lifestyle is amazing an exciting for about a month, but there's a point after unpacking and getting comfortable that you naturally want to stay awhile and make it comfortable and yours. It takes me about a month to finally feel settled in, and it's always in those moments of peace when it is time to leave. Even though the total allotted time for this way of living will be around seven months by the end, it feels like forever. I am excited to have my own home again where the space is an intentional curation of love, peace, comfortability, and gathering. On a positive note, I really appreciate the amount of people I've met and all of their kindness, the spaces I've called home for a short while, the outstanding corners of the world I've had the privilege of seeing and experiencing, and myself for being open enough to even try.

Moving My Body

One month ago I was very active in my job. Moving into my new contract, it is quite the opposite. I'm sitting for the majority of the time while doing Math, Science, English, or French. I'm going to have to find a new way to stay active. For this last month of my contract, the activities most accessible to me are walking, climbing, lifting weights, swimming, and running. I have quite the pick!
